Jaxon's first beach trip!!! We spent the week of the 4th of July in Newport Beach with the VandenAkker crew. Jason and his family flew in from Minneapolis and we flew down with Justin and Jennie. We had a great beach house on 29th street and enjoyed a full week of sun on the beach. Trips are definitely a lot different now with five grandkids in the family. It is so fun (and somewhat tiring) to watch them playing on the beach all day. Jaxon got to meet Rebecca, Josh, Grace and Ruby for the first time on this trip (he had already met Jason on a previous trip). The next trip will be a blast with Ruby, Chase and Jaxon. They are all within a few months of each other and will be running around causing trouble together.
