Discovery

We had a fun day at Discovery with Nana, Ileah, and cousins Ashlyn and Camden. The kids had so much fun. Jaxon especially loved the kitchen sink. He could have spent all day playing in the water. He was soaked by the time we left.

It was a cold morning, but we managed to make it outside to take a look in the helicopter.

Merry Christmas

We spent Christmas morning at the VandenAkker's. We loved watching Jaxon open presents and get all excited - he kept saying "oooohhhhh ooooohh"
The piano was more fun then opening presents.
That afternoon we went to Nana and Papa Jim's

me and Grandpa Mumford
Me and Jennie. She is due a month before me. It will be so much fun to have cousins so close in age.

Home for the Holidays

We arrived in Salt Lake on December 21st. When we arrived at the Boston airport at 4:45am we were told our flight had been delayed two hours due to mechanical problems and they were not sure whether or not it would be delayed longer or if we were even going to be able to fly out that day. We started to panic since several flights had been canceled the past couple days due to a storm, and the fact Christmas was so close. Luckily, we were only delayed a little over an hour.
We were so excited to be home for the holidays and more, since we were going to be there until January 17th.

A storm hit the day of our arrival and Jaxon was excited to play in the snow and attempt to help grandpa shovel
Jax loves dogs and is in love with Deuce. He kept bossing him around and calling him "Doo."

Snowfall

We had our first big snow storm in Boston. It is crazy how everything shuts down on the east coast when it snows. We received an email from our ward at 10:00pm the night before informing us church had been canceled and it hadn't even begun snowing. Jaxon had fun playing with dad in it.

Christmas in Boston

We decided to do our Christmas with Jaxon a few days before we left for Salt Lake. Santa brought him a roller coaster. We went to an indoor playground a couple months ago, and he played on this roller coaster the entire time, so we were so excited to find it for him. He didn't care to open any other presents once he saw it.
He was so tired the other day when we got home I took him out of the stroller and he walked back over and pointed to get back in, so I put him back in and he immediately fell asleep sitting up. He is too funny. I love my little narcoleptic.

Ice Skating

We went ice skating with Cole's section tonight at The Frog Pond at Boston Commons. We finally had our first snow fall a few nights ago - I believe it hit 70 degrees last week, but I think winter is finally here to stay! It has been pretty chilly the past few nights.
Jaxon didn't last too long skating underneath Cole's legs, but he loved just running around the rink. These cones were way more exciting than ice skating. He kept picking them up and moving them around.

Holidazzle

The business school had their annual Holidazzle party Friday night. They had a formal dinner with each section at the Westin and then dancing after. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make it this year, but look forward to next year.
Most of these people are from Cole's section. The school splits the 900 students into 10 sections. Cole is a part of Section I.
Dancing the night away.
