Lake Winnipesaukee

We had a fun weekend in New Hampshire at Lake Winnipesaukee. I have been obsessed with this lake ever since "What About Bob" - one of my favorites!! Although I was very disappointed to learn the movie wasn't actually filmed here. It was such a gorgeous weekend. It had rained a few days before, so the lake was so smooth - it usually is covered in snow, but with the rain it made for a perfect ice skating rink.
We stayed at Archibald's amazing home - so pretty. I love the layout and design. It has so much character.

I had never been on a frozen lake before. It was a little scary. I took Jaxon out with me and I kept wondering what I would do if the ice broke through, but then I saw a jeep drive by, and I figured we were fine. Here are a few of us ice skating.The water by the dock is not frozen, because they have fans below to keep it from freezing over so it won't ruin the dock. It freaked me out a little bit when stepping onto the water.

Cousin Fun

My Mom took Jax a couple nights for us while we were in town. He had so much fun sleeping over with Nana and cousins Ashlyn and Camden

Clean Clean

This is why you should never leave a toddler alone. I could hear Jaxon from upstairs saying "clean clean" "clean clean." I quickly saw what he was trying to clean. Grandma's kitchen had become a sandbox full of flour. He was having so much fun playing in it. Luckily, it all came up pretty easily after a couple hours of sweeping, vacuuming, and wiping.

Cole took Jaxon sledding for the first time and he loved it. As soon as they would get to the top of the hill he would jump right back on the sled.
