St. Kitts

For Spring Break we headed south with great friends to enjoy some warmer weather on the island of St. Kitts. We had such a fun trip and wonderful weather. It was the perfect break from the cold winter weather we have been enduring the past few months.
Grant loved swimming. Each day it would take him an hour or so to warm up to the idea of getting in the water, but once he was in he loved it.
Jaxon loved the beach. His favorite thing was to build sand castles just like "mimi" or Curious George. He watched an episode where George went to the beach and built sand castles so the entire trip he kept saying he was just like "mimi." Grant on the other hand didn't want anything to do with the beach. He didn't like the sand on his feet or hands and especially didn't enjoy the water. Luckily, he did enjoy the pool, so Cole would go with Jaxon to the beach and I would spend my time with Grant in the pool.
Here is our group with all six families.
Sorenson's, Welch's, both Archibald's, and Harrison's.
Tuesday morning Scott, Cameron, Chris, and Cole went golfing on this gorgeous course. According to the boys, the course got the better of them, but they still had a great time.
We also went zip lining with the Harrison's and Archibald's. Here we are going up the mountain.
The views from the top were incredible.
The zip lining course sits on an old sugar plantation from the 1800's.

Jaxon loved looking at this "pirate ship." It is really a half scale replica of the Nina, but to him a pirate ship was much cooler.Porter, Claire, Rowan, and Jaxon
We used a hand towel so he could wrap his towel around him just like Dad.

Ready for Spring

The guys had today off of school so we all went to breakfast in Beacon Hill at the Paramount.
It has been a very cold winter, but today the temperature jumped to 60 degrees - so after breakfast we walked over to the Boston Public Gardens and saw the bronze statue ducks in the park that come from the children's book "Make Way for Ducklings." The kids were having fun sitting on each of them.
Jaxon was trying to feed one of them a peanut.

I'm hoping this warm weather sticks around and Spring comes early this year.

Jaxon's 3rd Birthday

I can't believe my baby turned three today. It is crazy how quickly these few years have passed. I have loved watching him grow and develop. He is my little buddy and I can't get enough of his personality, laughing, singing, running, wrestling, dancing, and most of all his craziness.

We had a little get together tonight to celebrate the big day with some friends.
Grant was loving the cupcakes!!

Happy Valentine's Day

Here we are at the Crimson Kids Valentine's party. All the kids were given boxes and passed out their valentines. Jaxon was really excited to pass out his Lightning McQueen valentines.
