Vermont

We decided to take a little road trip with the Harrison's to Vermont. Our first stop along the way was in N.H. at Dartmouth College. It was fun to see their campus and their historical buildings. It was founded in 1769 and is one of the oldest schools in the country.

Next stop was in Waterbury, Vermont at the Ben & Jerry's Factory.

We stayed at the Stowe Mountain Resort in Stowe, Vermont. The setting was gorgeous. Vermont reminded us a lot of Europe.

Our last stop was in Sharon, Vermont to visit Joseph Smith's birthplace.

Boston

We had so much fun with Cole's family while they were in town. Here we are at Faneuil Hall.The boys were loving sitting on the ducks from "Make Way For Ducklings" in the Commons

It was fun to do a Duck Tour and see so many fun sites. It took us by my favorite bridge in Boston. It is actually one of the widest cable-stayed bridges in the world. Here is a better picture of it. It is quite impressive.The USS Constitution, "Old Ironsides", is the oldest commissioned warship afloat in the world. It was first launched in 1797 and was one of six ships ordered for construction be George Washington.

In honor of Memorial Day, nearly 20,000 flags are placed in Boston Common through the weekend to commemorate each Massachusetts soldier lost in World War I.Harvard Yard

Graduation

These past two years have flown by and have been such an incredible experience for our family! We feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet so many amazing people and to live in such a wonderful place. We have absolutely loved Boston and are so sad to see our time here come to an end. We take with us lifelong friendships and many great memories.

It was fun to see Cole's mission president and his wife at graduation.Jessie & Chris Harrison, Michelle & Scott Sorenson, Kristin & Anthony Archibald, Me & ColeScott, Chris, Anthony, & ColeCole's Mission President, Ron Harrison, and his wife, Debbie. Cole lived with them for a summer in D.C. and has kept in close contact with them. They are such a wonderful family.

It's tradition at HBS for students who are parents to have their kids walk with them. Grant & Jaxon enjoyed walking (or being carried by in Grant's case) with Cole.

While we're definitely going to miss Boston, we're excited to get back to Utah! Cole took a job with Backcountry.com in Park City. I'm not sure if he's more excited about the job or all the great outdoor gear he's going to buy now.
