Fenway Park

This morning we took a tour of Fenway Park. It was fun to walk through the empty stadium and learn the history of the ballpark and team. It has been fun living so close to Fenway. We have loved going to Red Sox games.

This red seat marks the longest home run ever hit at Fenway, hit by Ted Williams in 1946. The seat was painted red to commemorate Williams' titanic blast.

What a great idea! I wish we had done that - such a piece of history. You guys seriously lived it up that last month or two!!

I've been thinking about you guys and wondering what you're up to! I'll have to give you a call or send you an e-mail one of these days.
